Our Story
Creating new ways to put your needs first.
TarasPort Trailers was incorporated in 1988, located in Sweetwater, TN.
The original owner built the business after working in trailer manufacturing as a teenager and continued for much of his adult life. He and his wife decided to begin their own business using his knowledge of trailers and her financial background. They were determined to build the best trailer possible and build it to suit the customers needs.

For Owners/Operators
Over the years the Owner Operator has been our bread and butter. We know that you are the people that work very hard and take great pride in what you do. We understand that you need equipment that lasts and helps to make your job as easy as possible.
As custom builders, we can offer you an extremely well equipped trailer to a very basic one. That is all determined by your needs and desires. We like working with Owner Operators and will work to help you secure financing through our outside funding agencies.
Heavy Equipment Mobilization
TarasPort Trailers designs trailers for many uses including the equipment mobilization industry. Whether your company needs a trailer to mount equipment on permanently or simply make equipment portable, we can design to fit your needs.
We have built trailers for companies such as Avtron, Atlantic Design, Caterpillar and the US military for varying uses.
One of our most recent projects was built for use in the northern slope of Alaska requiring special steel. We can, and will, work within any needs that you may have.
